Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Emergence Endodontics has continuously provided care and attended to emergency patients in need. Our office aims to follow the most up-to-date guidelines from the College of Dental Surgeons of BC and from the Provincial Health Officer. We implemented stricter disinfection protocols in the office according to the health authorities. Personal Protective Equipment including N95 masks, level 3 surgical masks, gowns, and face shields are used for each patient.
Furthermore, to clean the air, the enclosed operatories have been equipped with Surgically Clean Air purifier units to provide continuous air exchange and to filter the air through HEPA filters and Germicidal UVC+ light. The technology will not only capture airborne contaminants but also actively kill airborne bacteria, viruses, germs, and mold spores.
As we have officially entered phase 3 of BC’s restart plan, we have decided to maintain the masks and physical distancing requirements for the benefit of our patients. We are carefully observing the health guidelines of BC's Public Health Office and will announce any changes accordingly.
We ask you to help us by adhering to the following guidelines and we look forward to seeing you and answer any questions/concerns regarding COVID-19 that you may have.
